TheOilHand.com is a private professional networking and communication platform exclusively for oil & gas workers (roughnecks, rig hands, tool pushers, company men, supervisors, office staff, and verified industry personnel). Features include profiles, activity feeds, groups, private messaging, video calling, file sharing, and shift/crew coordination.

3. Eligibility & Membership

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must currently work (or have recently worked) in the oil & gas industry.
• All accounts are subject to manual approval by administrators.
• We reserve the right to deny or revoke membership at any time for any reason, including providing false information or violating these Terms.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Acceptable Use – You Agree NOT to:

• Post or share illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or harassing content.
• Share confidential company information, proprietary data, or trade secrets.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Use the Site for commercial solicitation without written permission.

6. Safety & Offshore Rules

• No discussion of bypassing safety procedures or regulations.
• No photos or videos that violate rig/company safety policies.

7. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant TheOilHand.com a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, store, and moderate that content within the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account immediately, without notice, for violation of these Terms or at our sole discretion.

9. No Warranty

The Site is provided “as-is.” We do not guarantee 100% uptime, data preservation, or that the service will always be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability
